Lures Bar and Grill - Outdoor Pavillion

During COVID, restaurant patrons grew to enjoy outdoor seating opportunities. The restaurant owner came to LOA seeking a more permanent structure than the tents that were previously used. The structure was developed in a design-build effort with a local timber framing artisan to blend with the restaurant’s eclectic style. The new pavilion provides covered seating and radiant heat allowing it to give diners an outdoor seating option in all but the most inclement weather.

Sailor Oyster Bar - Renovation/Rebuild

Annapolis, MD

After a devastating fire, the Owners of Sailor Oyster Bar (SOB) reached out to LOA for assistance in rebuilding this iconic Annapolis restaurant. Structural issues discovered during construction required a full gut of the building taking it back to the original shell.

The new plan expanded the seating area, created a new bar and larger prep kitchen on the second floor, and brought the building into compliance with current codes while maintaining the gritty feel that so many Annapolis residents and visitors have come to love.
